With Charter One One Switch, you work directly online, at your convenience, to generate customized letters to switch your account information.
You’ll simply provide the names of the companies that take automatic payments from your current account and the companies that make direct deposits into your account. One Switch will then automatically generate customized direct deposit, automatic payment change, and closing letters for you to print out and mail to those organizations.

Option 2: Charter One Switch Support®
If you're a Circle Gold Banking™ customer, you can take advantage of exclusive Switch Support, a free concierge service that lets a dedicated Charter One representative do part or all of the switching work for you, including:

Transferring your direct deposit. We will contact your employer and request that your direct deposit be switched to your new account.

Moving automatic payments. We will contact your billers, from your utilities to your mortgage company, to move your automatic payments.

Setting up Online Bill Payees. If you want to bank and pay bills online, we will activate online banking and set up your online bill payees for you.

Closing your old account. We will complete a letter for you requesting that your old checking account be closed.
